Charen shared this request in the Calais Forum. We thought it was well worth a share:
“I would love to find a few friends who like to accomplish things while they socialize.
“Maybe we could weed a garden, repair a shed, stack wood, go for a walk/hike, trim sheep hooves, or knit while we chat. If we add a meal to the mix, all the better. This is how community functioned for millennia and I like it, plus it builds resilience and chips away at the system that monetizes everything, including our entertainment.
“Btw, I don’t have a shed or sheep, but I enjoy those activities. Hit me up!”
