Support the Community Playground at Grand Isle School by donating your returnable bottles and cans at the A& B. Just let them know you want your receipt to be put towards the Community Playground at Grand Isle School. Thank you for your support!

Has anyone had any experience, good or bad, with a company called TriState Basement Waterproofing?

Boy… I bet you get bombarded! Sorry to add to your burden but don’t k now who else to ask

I live in Alburgh & signed up about 3 /4 weeks ago. How do I access other forums beyond Grand Isle? There doesn’t seem to be a lot of posting for GI unless I am not doing something correctly….so I’d like to see Chittenden county where our children live

    Please advise & thank you

Hi. I’m involved in a local Women’s Chorus called Bella Voce, along with Rose Bacon and Rosemary Zamore, and I want to tell you about our holiday concert coming up in December. This year our concert title is “Glad Tiding: Songs of Joy and Peace” and will feature Grace Cloutier – a wonderful harpist from New York. There will be handbells and flutes and percussion too. Our Christmas concerts have become so popular that they quickly sell out. We want everyone to have a chance to attend so we’ve added a second performance!

The concert dates are Saturday, December 5 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 6 at 3:00 p.m. Both concerts will be held at the First Baptist Church, 81 St. Paul Street in Burlington. Tickets are $15 general seating and $12 for seniors and students. You can get tickets at the door, but I really recommend that you order your tickets through the Flynn Box Office, because as I mentioned before, it is not unusual for us to sell out. Their phone number is 863-5966 or online at http://www.flynntix.org. You can learn more about the Bella Voce Chorus on our website at http://www.bellavocevt.org.

It’s going to be a great concert! I hope I see you out there in the audience!

    Your Neighbor,

    Mary Harwood
